Stuffed Peppers


  • 4 tri-colored peppers
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup cooked and cooled white rice
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • ½ cup grated cheese, plus 1/3 cup
  • 1 large whole egg
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 quart Casa Visco Marinara
  • 1-2 TBS Seasonings, I use a mix of paprika, garlic salt, parsley, salt & pepper


Clean & core the fresh peppers; set aside. Mix all the ingredients together, use about ½ the jar of sauce in the stuffing mix and save the other half.

Stuff the peppers with the Turkey mix. Fit peppers into an oven safe container with a lid. Top peppers with the other half of the sauce, cover with 1/3 cup grated cheese and add water on the side of the peppers to about 1/3 of the way to the top of the peppers. Cook at 350 for about 45 minutes or until the turkey registers 160 degrees.
