- 2 lbs ground turkey (or beef, pork, veal combo)
- 3 slices of stale bread, crusts removed
- ½ cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated cheese
- ¼ cup chopped flat Italian parsley
- 1/3 cup room temperature pasta sauce
- Salt & pepper
Soak bread in milk until absorbed. Squeeze out milk and roughly chop. Add chopped bread to meat, add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Scoop or spoon meatball sized pieces and place on wax paper or parchment paper and place on baking sheet to freeze.
Drop frozen balls into boiling sauce and cook until cooked, approx. two hours.
